Mohamed Morsi vows to free blind sheikh jailed in US

Egypt, Mohamed Morsi has agreed to release the blind sheikh jailed in the U.S. for a plot to blow up New York City landmarks.

In his first public speech in front of tens of thousands of people in Tahrir Square Friday, Morsi has promised to work to free Omar Abdel-Rahman, the spiritual leader of the men convicted in the 1993 bombing on the World Trade Center.
