Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen was deemed fit to play his first match of the Premier League for over two months at Chelsea on Saturday.

The 25-year-old made his return to the Cup 2-1 win Tuesday over the Bolton League. It had to be replaced because of a cramp in the calf, but Arsenal are ready to play at Stamford Bridge.
